Mixing sporty element with cocktail dresses had always been the recognizing feature of Roksanda Ilincic fashion shows. In her new collection, the designer was inspired by turning an old school girl to a modern woman. Thus, the whole collection seemed casual, chic and luxuries. Such a show was released on LONDON, September 20, 2011.
The designer presented an elegant show with the help of prints, colors, fabrics and cuts.
Prints were either floral or striped patterns.
As for colors, they were mustard, mandarin, white, cement, aquamarine, fuchsia and navy blue.
The used fabrics were all about organza, woolen cloth, silk, tricot cotton, satin and jersey. Moreover, the existed cuts were shirts, skirts, jackets, dresses and pants. Shirts were boxy with an effect of boyish style yet skirts were corolla style with knee length.
Jackets were oversized and drop shouldered coats with mid length. Dresses were straight, sack or hourglass shaped with lantern sleeves, sleeveless of 3/4 sleeves and with mini, midi or maxi length.
As for pants, they were wide legged with ankle length. The whole collection seemed fashionable. Finally, belts, strapped high-heeled sandals and headpieces were perfectly employed as accessories.
