Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Chic and refined can always be the describing features of any of Jason Wu’s collection. His last collection was released on NEW YORK, September 9, 2011. The collection was regarded as being youthful and highly appealing one especially with the perfect use of prints, colors, fabrics and cuts.

Prints were floral patterns. The colors weaved from white, ivory, black, grey, chartreuse, tangerine, electric blue, fuchsia and yellow. As for fabrics, they were all about faille, silk, metallic lace, silk, chiffon and nappa leather.

The cuts were distinctive in jackets, skirts, blouses, pants, shorts and dresses. Jackets were flouncy, short, and stiff. Skirts were pleated, straight and above knee length. Blouses had little collar yet pants were fitted with ankle length.

Shorts were micro and dresses were either of pleated skirt and knee length or short from front and long from back.

Finally, bags and high-heeled sandals were used as accessories.
