HAUL Yeah Baby! XII (168 Mall Adventure)

I said in my last haul blog post that I hope I can control myself from buying stuff even just until this month ends because I'm trying to save up some money and now here I am with another haul! Just so you know, this is totally okay and fine by me, with all of my heart (hahaha) because most of the stuff I'm going to show you were bought with my Mother's money! I am a one happy daughter! :-D

Yesterday, I spent the whole day with my Mother, my older sister and my boyfriend. We ate lunch at Chef Vince and then we went shopping at 168 Mall. 168 Mall is a local mall here in the Philippines and it is one of the go-to places if you want to buy cheap and affordable stuff such as clothes, bags, shoes, and pretty much everything! We went there basically to buy my sister a new pair of shoes because 2nd semester had already started. By the way, I think my sister changes shoes every freakin' semester! LOL!

I actually bought only a few stuff but the highlight of this haul is my very first train case which I only got for PHP500! Yes, you've read it correctly, PHP500. But you'll know why it's super cheap if you keep on reading so please do. ;-p

1. EARRINGS!

I bought these super cheap but edgy and sophisticated earrings. I was supposed to get only the feather earrings but the sales lady said it's two for PHP150 so I picked another pair and I chose that sophisticated brown drop earrings! May dagdag na naman sa collection ko!

2. MAYBELLINE NEW YORK COSMETICS (Blushers and Mascara)

I was checking out this toy store to find a gift for my niece because it was her birthday yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't buy anything because the toys there are all original (so that means expensive) and I don't have enough money to buy what I really wanted for my niece. When I stepped outside the store, a certain rack of random items caught my attention. Then I saw on the second layer some Maybelline New York goodies! I immediately asked the store owner if those are authentic and she said yes and she even said that those Maybelline cosmetics were shipped to them weekly. I called my sister and we checked it and it's obviously authentic. However, they are only selling blushers and mascaras. I didn't even think twice, I started choosing which shade of blushers I'm going to buy. And oh, the mascara that they have? theColossal Volum' Express! It was only priced at PHP250. I've been dying to have theColossal mascara even though I know it's just the same with theMagnum mascara which I already have. LOL!

I bought theColossal, one blusher (Romantic Plum) and one light bronzer (Salsa Sun). My sister also bought a couple of MNY stuff. I got the blush and bronzer for only PHP200 each.

3. EARRING HOLDER

I love earrings. I've been collecting earrings for more than a year now. Before I started collecting makeup for my makeup business, I was collecting earrings and I actually became obsessed with it. It's my guilty pleasure next to makeups! ;-) I have so many earrings right now and I've been looking for an earring holder to, well, to hold them! Hahaha! I found this earring holder at 168 mall and got it for only PHP75. The earring you're seeing below are just 1/4 of my collection. ;-p

4. SILVER MEDIUM SIZED 4-LAYERED TRAIN CASE

Well, this train case have three extra layers, the fourth layer is the bottom part. Like what I've said above, I only got this for PHP500. It was originally priced at PHP600 but my Mom is so good at haggling prices. Hahaha! I bought this train case for temporary use only. For PHP600? Come on! It's very, very cheap. The quality is not that good but it's good enough to carry the things I need to bring in a makeup gig, at least for now. My Dad promised to buy me a better one soon. Every time I open the layers of this train case, I'm really, really scared that I might break it off so soon because the layers are not that durable. But so far, it's okay naman!

The reason why it's cheap? Just refer to the photo below. Natatanggal na 'yung dikit nung edges sa loob.

Another thing that I hate about this? It comes with a key but it doesn't even work at all! The key doesn't fit to the key hole! Naglolokohan ba tayo, p're?

But, overall it's still awesome. I've got exactly what I've paid for, so what do you expect pa? 'Di ba?

And that's it!

Review: CARELINE LIP GLOSS

I finally got my hands on these famous Careline lip glosses! I found out about this first from Judy of itsjudytime. I watched it from her drugstore haul from the Philippines. I was amazed how pigmented the lip glosses are so when I visited the mall few days after, I went over to the Careline counter to buy the lip glosses. I was disappointed because I did not find them. I saw a bunch of lip glosses but they were different from what I saw in Judy's haul. So, everytime I go to malls, local stores, supermarkets, and drugstores, I check if they have those lip glosses but I really can't find them!

Then one time while I was reading random blogs, I found a review about the Careline lip glosses from Donnarence of MyLucidIntervals. After reading her post, I was amazed even more. I found out that there are many colors to choose from and that they're really pigmented. I just felt super frustrated because I don't know where to get them. They're super cheap but the colors are super nice and based on the picture of swatches Ms.Donnarence posted, you can really tell that they are so creamy. On the last part of her blog, she mentioned that the sales lady told her that the lip glosses are exclusively sold in Robinsons Malls. She wasn't sure if it's true and I am also not sure. So, I searched for different reviews and I was convinced that they're really exclusively sold in Robinsons malls. So, that's why I couldn't find them in SM supermalls and local drugstores.

Robinsons malls are quite for from Tagaytay except the one in Dasmarinas but the last time I checked, the Careline lip glosses are not available there. I can't find the time to visit Robinsons malls plus the transportation fee is a little expensive. It will just be a waste if my only reason to go there is to buy the lip glosses (I'm still being practical, of course). That's why I was so happy when we planned to take the kids (nephew and nieces) out for a quality time. We chose Robinsons Galleria over SM North Edsa. Although SM North is way nearer from our house, we chose to go to Robinsons Galleria because we wanted a new environment. We've been in SM North a million times, ever since I was a kid! Yeah, so when we got there, we ate first and went straight to the department store. Of course the first counted I looked for was Careline's and at first glance, BAM! I saw the famous lip glosses! I actually felt they're the ones looking at me, hahaha! I immediately swatched the colors and gawd, I've finally seen up close and personal how great they are. I even convince my sister-in-law to buy as well. Hee! I bought six shades! I did not buy the other shades because I'm not a fan of those colors.

See the price tag? (Robinsons)

Pretty colors, right?

I'm just a little curious why the pink one has a bigger Careline mark than the other ones, see?

Why I love them?
They are very creamy and real smooth on the lips. They're almost like lip creams already. Another thing is that I can wear these even without lipstick because they are really pigmented. The container is like a tube that you use for experimenting in the Science lab. LOL. You can tell that they are really cheap just by looking at them because of the design and the tube is made of plastic. I don't know about you but I think they're really cute. Judy time said they smell like peaches but for me, I think they smell like watermelon. Whatevs! Basta they have fruity scent. :)

SWATCHES:

101 is a very pretty nude color with peachy-pink undertone. I love it, one of my faves!

110 is also a nude color but with a brown undertone.

107 is a mauve color. Great for everyday use. One of my faves as well. :)

104 is a very nice pink color. Very girly-girl! I love it!!!

111 is a nice dark orange shade. This can be paired with Ever Bilena's matte lipstick in Scarlet and NYX's matte lipstick in Indie Flick. :)

108 is sort of a berry red. Ms.Donnarence was right. If you layer this color, you'll get a darker shade of red. I love this! :)

I love inexpensive finds like these. The next time I visit Robinsons, I will definitely buy more of these lip glosses!  :)

That's it!

Stay awesome my dear dudettes! :)

Review: HENG FANG and MISS BEAUTY LIPSTICKS

I found out about Heng Fang lipsticks from Ms. Maricarl Janah, the Pinay beauty guru from YT. She said Heng Fang lipsticks are cheap but have great qualities. She raved about it so much and she's even giving it away as one of her prizes from her latest giveaway.

I was so eager to buy the Heng Fang lipsticks that's why I became super excited when I found out that they are available in Robinson's Supermarket Tagaytay which is a 10-minute drive from our house. I went crazy and bought 5 of them. I was even planning to buy the whole box just because I wanted the lipstick container but I didn't like the other shades. Anyway, I got the Heng Fang lippies for only P45 each! My Mom told me it might be harmful for my lips but I said I've watched Ms. Maricarl Janah's video about it and I bet they'll just be fine. In Rob Tagaytay I also found Miss Beauty lipsticks and decided to buy two tubes in different shades since they are only P20!

***SWATCHES***

Now, the Miss Beauty lipsticks? Not a fan. They're just not that pigmented. Refer to the no.11 pictures. The color from the tube is way different from the color when applied on the lips.

On the other hand, I am absolutely loving the Heng Fang lipsticks! I understand now why Janah raved so much about it. They are creamy, pigmented, glides on smoothly and they don't have off smells unlike other cheap lipsticks. I find the packaging nice too because it just doesn't look cheap at all.

Aren't the colors amazing? My favorite shades are 02 and 23, the former is like a sheer coral color and the latter is a nice bright pink.

Yesterday while I was in Manila, I found another kind of Heng Fang lipstick in Circle C. The packaging is all black but I didn't buy it because only one shade was available and I didn't like it.

I will find more of the Heng Fang lipsticks! Oh, as well as the Osseur lipsticks that Janah also raved about. If you know where I can find them please let me know (Manila and Cavite area).

Thank you!
