NOVEMBER FAVORITES!!! (2011)

Hi everyone! So, I'm back with my monthly favorites, although I'm not sure if I can really do this every month. Anyway, I just want to share with you my favorites for this month of November.

1. PURE BEAUTY PERFECT CLEANSING WATER

Actually, this has been my favorite since September, this was also included in my September favorites but I just want to include this again in this month's list because I just found out another way on how to use this product. I thought, since this is a makeup remover, maybe I can use this in cleaning out my makeup brushes and it works perfectly! Before when I wash my makeup brushes, I take a lot of time just to get rid of the products from the brushes but this cleansing water saves a lot of time and energy as well. What I do is, I soak my brushes first on the cleansing water and you can really see that the excess makeups are really being removed out from the brushes. They really separate. It's amazing because I get to save my Alcogel hand soap which I use for cleaning out my brushes and you also get to conserve water! :)

2. REXONA WOMENS NATURAL BIOPROTECTION ANTI-PERSPIRANT DEODORANT

I love the fact that it's a deo spray. I don't know why but I'm just more into deo sprays than the roll-ons. :D The best thing that I love about this is its scent. It smells like aloe vera or something. Anyway, I really love the its scent because it just smells super fresh.

3. ST.IVES BODY POLISH MINERAL THERAPY

This body polish is actually one of my first St. Ives' products, the other one is the Apricot scrub which I haven't really used yet. I looooove using this everytime I'm in the shower because I love the smell of this. It's like coconut and shea butter. I cannot really describe the scent but I love it, it's like really therapeutic. I don't know if it's a psychological effect but that's just how it is for me. This is an exfoliating body polish and I adore it because it really leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and really clean. It has sugar crystals which act as the exfoliant. Another thing is that, the scent really stays on your skin even after taking a bath. But if you are sensitive to fragrances, then I guess it's not a good thing for you.

4. KUSTIE 100% NATURAL EXTRACT PAPAYA BODY BUTTER

I wouldn't have the chance to try this product out if I didn't buy the large Kustie Papaya Facial Scrub Jam. I bought the small tube of the facial scrub before and I fell in love with it so I decided to buy the larger tube. When I bought it, it came with this body butter so this is like a free item. I actually love it because the scent is not too overwhelming for me and it really moisturizes my skin. It's not like any other body butters or lotions that are just too greasy and icky, this is just okay. It's like a moisturizer for my body, it's kinda hydrating.

5. ESKINOL OIL CONTROL DERMA CLEAR C FACIAL CLEANSER PIMPLE FIGHTING

I love the fact that this is a facial cleanser and a toner in one. It's also pimple fighting and controls oil so that's really awesome. Plus, it's very affordable. I got mine for PHP 43 at 7-11 so maybe it'll cost lesser in groceries, supermarkets, department stores, or other drugstores since 7-11 prices their items like gold mines! Anyway, I really love this because this is the one who got me through during my lazy nights. LOL! Whenever I'm too lazy to wash my face after a long day and I just want to go straight to sleep, I will remove my makeup, first (if I'm wearing any) using my makeup remover then I will just use this Eskinol facial cleanser to clean my face and my neck. It's really awesome because it really cleanse my face without that icky feeling, if you know what I mean.

6. E.L.F. STIPPLE BRUSH

At first, I was skeptic to use this because I thought it's just too flimsy and not that densed unlike the other stippling brush that I've seen. But when I gave it a try, I was actually surprised that it does a good job. It gives you that smooth and flawless finish of foundation. This is my first ever stippling brush, thanks to Miss Hollie of Random Beauty by Hollie because she sent this to me as part of my prizes when I won her giveaway. :)

7. VICTORIA'S SECRET METALLIC EYES PALETTE

This palette is really meant for day to night eye makeup looks and I must say that it's really great for day to night. This was actually given to me by my best friend as a birthday gift, so thanks to her! This is also perfect for travelling. Watch out for my review about this one.

8. 4U2 DREAM GIRL REFLECTIONS EYE SHADOW QUATTRO

Another palette that I've learned to love this month is this Dream Girl Reflections Eye Shadow Quattro by 4u2. I just love the shades, they are all neutral shades so it's perfect for the current season. It's also very handy because the palette is really small, so this is great for travelling as well.

9. ELLANA MINERALS DIVA COPPER BRONZE LIP/CHEEK DOT

I make sure that this one right here never leaves my makeup kit. I just love this so much, it gives you that subtle glow and it's very convenient to use. It's super tiny but I love it. It also has a matte finish so no need to set it with anything and it stays on for long hours. Plus, it's mineral so that's really awesome. I use this for everyday makeup looks and it's just perfect. I usually apply it along my cheek bones. I kinda like using this as a highlighter as well.

10. NICHIDO MINERAL SPOT CONCEALER

I don't actually use this to conceal unwanted spots on my face. I mainly use this to highlight my brow bones and define my eyebrows more. It's a pencil so it's very convenient to use. I tried using it to conceal my blemishes once but the color didn't match my skin color so it sucked. But I guess if the shade matched my skin color, it'd work just fine.

11. NYX EYE/EYEBROW PENCIL IN DARK BROWN

This eyebrow pencil is one of my two favorite eyebrow pencils, the other one is the Precision Blender by Ever Bilena. This shade is actually darker but I'm kinda into dark-colored eyebrows so, I love this. It's almost the same as the precision blender except that the precision blender is creamier. This pencil almost has a matte finish.

12. MAYBELLINE EXPERTWEAR BLUSH IN ROMANTIC PLUM

I love this because it's great for everyday use. I got this for only 200 Pesos from 168 mall. It's sort of like a mauvey shade.

13. MAYBELLINE theCOLOSSAL VOLUM'EXPRESS MASCARA in GLAM BLACK

I must say that I fell in love with this mascara because of it's packaging. It's just the same as theMagnum but when I found this at 168 mall, I just gotta have it. I just have to!

14. FANCY PINK LEOPARD PRINT COIN PURSE

I got this for only PHP 50 and I adore it so much because it is so chic! I also like the fact that it can hold a lot of coins unlike other coin purses which can even barely store 10 pieces of coins!

15. MONTEGO BAY CLUB SLIPPERS

I love these slippers mainly because of the fact that they're my size! I rarely find girly slippers like this one that's why I was so excited when I found these awesome chic slippers in Payless at Paseo, Sta.Rosa. If you're wondering, the size of my feet is 11-11.5! ;-)

16. THE LUCKY ONES (FILM)

I recently watched Nikkie of Nikkietutorials Favorites video and there she featured her favorite movie for this month and I thought, "Why didn't I think of that?"! I mean, why didn't it occur to me to feature my favorite films or songs in my favorites list every month? So now, I'm going to share with you my latest favorite movie which is The Lucky Ones. This was actually released last 2008 but I just watched it this November. The story is about three soldiers who were sent home because the were injured. Funny thing is that, they didn't get their injuries during a war or fights but they got it from some totally random, stupid reasons. I am not going to tell the whole story here so, if you're interested, go ahead and watch it. :D Actually, the reason why I watched this is because of Rachel McAdams. I love her so much that's why when I found out that she's in the movie, I immediately downloaded the film.

So, that's it for my favorites for this month! I hope you enjoyed reading. If you have any questions, you can just leave a comment in the comment box.

OCTOBER FAVORITES!!! (2011)

Today is the 30th of October, 2011. It seems just like yesterday when I blogged about my September favorites! Ang bilis! Before you know it, 2012 na! Ah anyway, let me share with you my favorites for the month of October. New favorites!

1. SHINE MOIST KERATIN TREATMENT

I love this hair treatment! The sales lady was right. You'll notice the effect with just one use. My hair was a mess before I bought this and now my hair is totally cooperating with me again! LOL. I use this 2-3 times a week. :)

2. DOVE GO FRESH CUCUMBER AND GREEN TEA SCENT ROLL-ON

I'm just super in love with its scent. I love the smell of cucumber next to peppermint. It's just so refreshing and the smell is so mild, unlike other roll-ons that have strong smell which is just so annoying to use. Dove deo roll-ons never fail me. It stays on for looooong hours.

3. L'OREAL GENTLE LIP AND EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER

I've tried four different makeup removers and this one beats the crap out of them! It thoroughly removes the makeup from my face, especially the eye makeup (eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascara, etc.) and it doesn't even hurt. Not even a little! I think I'm going to stick with this one or... I don't know. I'll still try other brands. Hahaha! It's a bit pricey for me.

During my lazy days, I skip foundation and just conceal imperfections then set it with powder. I also do this sometimes when I want my face to take a break and somehow breathe for a while. I have two favorite concealers which really satisfies me.

4. SAN SAN CONCEALER

I love San San cosmetics because they're very affordable but they actually have good qualities, well most of them at least. One of their products that I love is their concealer. The coverage is just amazing especially for the dark circles around my eyes. I'm in the shade Olive. I never leave home without this one. This is a permanent resident of my beauty pouch which I bring with me all the time, wherever I go.

5. L.A. GIRL PRO.CONCEAL HD.HIGH-DEFINITION CONCEALER

I'm sorry for the title but I just copied whatever's written from the tube. I loooove love love this concealer! I've always wanted a concealer which has a matte finish and I finally found one! :) I have the shades creamy beige and pure beige but I use pure beige the most because creamy beige is just too light for me. This concealer really hides my blemishes. Good coverage! Two thumbs up!

6. FANNY SERRANO TWO-WAY CAKE in RAJAH

I don't have much to say about this because all I can say it that it's a great powder for contouring! It's my favorite contouring powder. Very handy and convenient to use.

7. CARELINE OIL-CONTROL SINGLE BLUSH in PEACH GLOW

This is my go-to blush when I want a natural glow on my face. :)

8. MAYBELLINE MASCARAS (THEHYPERCURL and THEMAGNUM VOLUM' EXPRESS)

I love Maybelline mascaras (period)

9. FANNY SERRANO LONG-LAST WATERPROOF LIQUID EYELINER

This eyeliner pen has a really good quality. I've tried two other brands of eyeliner pens and I wasn't really amazed by their quality. This one takes home the trophy. It's really waterproof and it stays on for long hours.

10. MARIONNAUD N'9 BRUSH

This is such a big help in redefining my eyebrows. Like my San San concealer, this is also a permanent resident of my personal beauty kit.

11. LANDMARK MAKEUP BRUSHES

These makeup brushes really amused and surprised me! Their oh so soft! I highly recommend these brushes. Very affordable but with great, super great, qualities!

Now, for my favorite lip products for the month:

12. STYLI-STYLE FLAT LIP PENCIL in MARBELLA

This is my favorite to use when I want to sport red lips. :)

13. NYX ROUND LIPSTICK in MILAN

The color of this lipstick is like a dusty rose color but it looks natural on me. It's very pretty. It's like my everyday lipstick for the month of October.

13. MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS in REVITALIZING MENTHOL

It moisturizes my lips well and it's menthol! ;-)

So, that's it for my favorites for the month of October, 2011. I hope you enjoyed reading about my favorites. It has been such a great month for me. I hope it was for you, too. :)

Stay awesome my dear dudettes! :)

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES!!! (2011)

Hello everyone! It's the 1st day of October today and it's time for me to show you my September Favorites! My, my, it really amazes me how time flies by so fast. Anyway, let's get it on! :)

1. Bench/ Alcogel Love Your Hands Liquid Hand Soap in Mint - I mainly bought this to clean my makeup brushes and I love it. It cleans my brushes very well and I love that it's antibacterial so it kills the germs from my used brushes. I am a sucker for mint flavors so I chose the mint one and the smell is like so therapeutic! :) (I got this from Savemore in Tagaytay but for sure it's available in any BENCH/ outlets)

2. Pure Beauty Perfect Cleansing Water - This alcohol-free and dermatologically tested formula is love, love, love! I use this to remove makeup from my face and it does the job so well. Put it on a cotton pad or cotton ball and it just takes one to two swipe to remove the makeup. You just might want to avoid your eye area because it stings like hell! I just love it because other than removing makeup, it's also good for your skin. And the smell is so nice, too! (Available in Watsons)

3. Kustie Papaya Facial Scrub Jam - I've already done a review about this one and I fell in love with it already from my very first use. I use this scrub like 3 times a week. It really gives a smooth feeling on my skin and it thoroughly cleans my face. The best part about this product is that I didn't breakout at all. (Available at SM Depatment Stores beauty section)

4. Tea Tree Foaming Face Wash - I love this facial wash. It has natural tea tree and peppermint oils. I love using this because it leaves my face feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed. Like what I've said, I'm a sucker for mint flavors. It's actually the reason why I bought this facial wash. I just love having that cooling effect on my face. :) (Available at SM Department Store beauty section)

5. Pond's White Beauty Naturals Day Cream  - I got this sachet free from a magazine my Mom bought. I've finished up the whole sachet already now. If you can notice in the picture, the sachet is actually empty. I love it because it feels light on the face unlike other Pond's moisturizers that gives that heavy feeling. The smell is really addicting, too!

6.  Pantene Pro-V Nature Care Leave on Creme - I forgot to include this in the summed picture above but this is definitely one of my top favorites! I've been using this since the day I bought it and I absolutely love it. My hair is always a mess and this leave on creme really helped my hair stay in place. I apply this after I take a bath on my towel-dried hair. Once my hair is dried, I can actually see that my hair is full of life, it has more fullness and the dry hair's not that visible.

7. Bench/ Fix Smooth Operator Weightless Styling Cream - I love using this for styling my hair especially after I curl or straighten my hair with a flat iron. It gives shine onto my hair but the feeling is not that heavy unlike when you apply oil or other anti-frizz serum on your hair. (Available in any Bench/ Outlets)

8. San San Matte Liquid Foundation in 03- Number 1 in my favorites list! I've been using this the whole month and it didn't give me any disappointments at all! The coverage is flawless and the staying power is awesome to think that it only costs P130. It doubles up as a concealer, too that's why I get to skip the concealing. Talk about saving time and energy. :) I've done a review about this foundation just recently so you might want to check it out to see why I love this so much. http://bingsalvadorcastro.blogspot.com/2011/09/review-san-san-matte-foundation.html (Available in HBC outlets)

9. Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Organza - I love Fanny Serrano two-way cakes because the coverage is awesome. I use them for my clients as well. My shade is in Organza, but I have two other shades. I love it because, like what I've said, it gives good coverage and it stays on for hours. I sometimes skip foundation and use only this and it still looks like I've used a foundation on my face. (Available in SM Department Store beauty section, Watsons)

10.  NYX's Rouge Cream Blush - These babies were just once my dream and now, I've already got 5 of them! Thanks to the on-hand sales of my favorite NYX suppliers online. Hahaha! I love these cream blushes because they stay on for long hours. The colors are really pigmented! My favorite shades so far are Orange and Natural because they just give you that natural glow on your face. (NYX Online Stores)

11.  Ever Bilena Precision Blender - My Mom always buy makeup stuff and she sometimes forgets about them in time and me and my sister always end up using them! More than a month ago, I found this Ever Bilena  precision blender in my Mom's makeup box. I knew right then that she's not using it anymore because few days before that, she bought like two new eyebrow pencils. I took it and started using it and I fell in love with it ever since. The color is perfect for me. It's creamy so it's easy to use for grooming my brows. I also use it sometimes to line my eyes. I'm about to finish the pencil so I bought a new one but stupid me, I mistakenly got the black one instead of the brown one. Anyway, it's still okay because I also use black on my eyebrows sometimes and I can use it too for lining my eyes. I'll just buy the brown one again the next time I visit the mall. (Available in Watsons, SM Department Store beauty section)

12. In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour in ER 01 Eyebrowns - The Ever Bilena precision blender is so creamy that sometimes it tends to smudge if you don't use it properly. So, I sometimes top it off with eyeshadows. I thought of buying a real brow powder to set my EB precision blender and I got this In2It brow powder. I love it because it's really pigmented. You can use this even without using eyebrow pencils or wax. (Available in Watsons, SM Department Store beauty section)

13. Garnier Light BB Eye Roll-On - I've been using this for almost two months now and I gotta say it's definitely a good buy. It's an eye care and a concealer in one. The coverage is actually pretty good. Sometimes when I'm feeling a bit lazy or if I want to go for a more natural look, I skip foundation and just use this for concealing my under eye areas. It's perfect! This Light BB and the Light eye roll-on helped lighten my dark circles. (Available in Watsons, SM Department Store beauty section)

(Now for my favorite lip products for the month of September)

14. NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Rose - I love NYX slim lip pencils because they're creamy, slides on smoothly, pigmented and stays on for long hours. I've got about 8 slim lip pencils now but I've been using the Rose shade a lot this September because I love the color. I use it almost every time I go out. :)

15.  NYX Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie and Fig - Collecting NYX lip products is just so addicting especially the round lipsticks and slim lip pencils. My favorites for this month are round lipsticks in Pumpkin Pie and Fig because they're perfect for everyday use.

16.  Careline Lip Gloss in 101 - Careline lip glosses = LOVE!!! They're just so good. The quality is really awesome, and for P60? Such a steal! Number 101 is included in my favorites list this month because I use it almost everyday. It's just perfect for an everyday/natural look.

That's it for my September favorites! By the way, this is in random order so it doesn't necessarily mean that the list is from the best ones to the least ones. ;-)

How about you? What are your favorites for this month?

October is now here and it's time for a little treat for you guys! October is MY month, bitches! ;-)
Stay tunes to find out what I'm talking about. :)

Stay awesome my dear dudettes! :)
