Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) has formed it's very own, Film Society.
The inauguration of the Film Festival will be done, in the month of December (around 22nd). The actor-turned-politician Bollywood star Shatrughan Sinha will be inaugurating the festival.
The renowned film director of Rajneeti, Ganga Jal etc, Prakash Jha, stated “We will honour all the famous alumni of DU, who are now in the film fraternity. The first ceremony of our society will be a Film Festival, where we will honour one particular Bollywood celeb each time, along with screening films, etc.” A lot of other activities like choreography, scriptwriting, film-related skills has also be planned in this film festival.
